It's America's 250th birthday, you've got a hot dog in one hand and a cold drink in the other β so obviously it's time to test how much you actually know about this great nation and the machines keeping your house running.
What's Actually Going On
Look, we're a parts store in Piedmont, Oklahoma. We sell door switches and drain pumps and igniter assemblies. But it's the Fourth of July, bro β America just turned 250, and we figured the best way to celebrate is a completely unhinged crossover quiz between American history trivia and appliance facts. Because nothing says freedom like knowing why your dryer is blowing cold air.
This is a Buzzfeed-style July 4th quiz, which means there are no wrong answers. Except there are. And we'll tell you. The American history appliances overlap is more real than you think β the same country that invented the airplane also invented the automatic dishwasher. We contain multitudes.
Grab a lawn chair, put down the sparklers for two minutes, and let's see how you do on this fun appliance quiz. Scoring is at the bottom. Be honest with yourself.
